The duo of Amanda Y Diego brings together two of Latin America's most successful pop artists– Amanda Miguel and Diego Verdaguer. Married since the late '70s, the couple continue to lend support to each other's million-selling recordings. Verdaguer has been a major star for more than a quarter of a century. He recorded such hits as "Yo Pescador De Amor," "Volvere," and "El Pasadiscos" in the '70s; "El Secreto Callado," "La Ladrona," "Coco Loco," "Nena," and "Usted Que Haria" in the '80s; and "Violeta," "Borron Y Cuenta Nueva," and "Venecia Sin Ti" in the '90s. Miguel found success with her debut album, El Sonido. Released in 1985, the album sold more than five million copies. Meeting in Buenos Aires in the mid-'70s, the couple first performed together when Miguel accepted an invitation to join Verdaguer's group, Mediterraneo, as a backup singer. Verdaguer and Miguel reside in Mexico.
